■Yamanashi Farmhouse Restoration Workshop
This is a traditional farmhouse type typically found in this Yamanashi region. This WS is our second year offering. Check to see footsteps of the last year’s WS at our website https://minka.or.jp. Mr. Takumi Osawa, the owner of this farmhouse and the founder principal of JMRA Minka School, will be the workshop instructor. The participants will enjoy the natural surroundings too.
■What you will learn
There is a long history for a minka tradition supported by the entire village community called “Yui”, a mutual support practices.
